This took me awhile to finish because I was experimenting with new styles and I really didn’t have a solid concept when I started this illustration so I kept making things up as I go. The first plan was just a simple portrait of Finn with nothing on the background but then something came up while I was browsing different artworks in deviantart for inspiration and then the chair was added then the curtains to make it more like a throne room and giving Finn a royal status because of all the princesses he hangs around with. Basically this portrait is a product of random creativity which is as random as any adventure time episode.
